Flight Instruction

Here at B&B Aero we think learning to fly should be Informative, Safe and Fun. B&B Aero has a complete flight training program that offers professional, personalized education from ground school to private pilot and beyond.

Flight Instructing — All B&B Aero flight instructors are FAA Certified Flight Instructors (CFI). They have passed the FAA’s written tests, extensive oral tests, and flight test for their certifications. Our instructors will take a personal interest in you and your goal of becoming a pilot. You can expect them to make flying fun for YOU!.

The FAA requires a minimum of 40 hours of training and instruction before you can get your private pilot license. The average time is typically 50 to 60 hours of instruction. It all depends on how many times you fly per week. We recommend flying students fly at least twice per week.

Ground School—B&B Aero offers complete ground school training. We combine the latest in computer technology and the expertise of our instructors to give you the utmost in training in a modern classroom environment. You will be ready for your FAA written test when you are finished.

The entire training from beginning to end is designed to be a step by step building block system to help you learn and retain all the information necessary to allow you to become a pilot.

Aircraft Rental—B&B Aero currently has two aircraft available for your training. Using our computer scheduling system, it is a snap to schedule an airplane and your instructor. The airplanes are available 7 days a week allowing you to fit flight training into your schedule.

Intro-Flight– B&B Aero offers a the first time student a chance to fly one of our aircraft with the help of our instructors. This is an exciting adventure that takes about one hour of time. When you are finished with the flight you will be filled with excitement. You can then move ahead and start your actual instruction.

Financing — Financing is available for qualified applicants.
